SFWeekly reports today that Cable Car Wine and Spirit Grocer (841 Clement) sold a winning California Lottery ticket worth $2,623,314.
But lottery officials say the ticket has not yet been claimed. The lucky patron matched five of the six in Saturday’s Powerball draw.
Whoever the holder of the ticket is should make haste – they only have 180 days to claim their winnings.
So if you happened to buy a lottery ticket from Cable Car Wine recently – go find it! And if you win, just remember your friendly neighborhood blog. It could use a new pair of shoes 😉
UPDATE 7/26/13: The winner has been identified as Douglas Sumiyoshi, age 43. Ironically, he almost threw his $2.6M winning lottery ticket away!
