Not to be mistaken with this dog named Mochi that has been found, another Mochi went missing on January 9th here in the neighborhood.
Owner Teresa contacted us and said that Mochi, her 6 year old white Pomeranian dog, slipped out for a look around near 3rd and Balboa.
“When we noticed we immediately ran out and checked and a couple witnesses reported an Asian man, between the age of 40-60, in a beige SUV (possibly a Honda CRV – unconfirmed) picked her up and drove off,” Teresa said.
This happened around 3:30pm on January 9 and so far, there is no sign of Mochi despite reaching out to shelters, pet stores, churches and the Richmond District YMCA.
Teresa is a volunteer at the SF SPCA and says anyone can anonymously return Mochi to the SPCA or the Arguello Pet Hospital here in the neighborhood, no questions asked. Mochi is also microchipped.
