In case you haven’t heard, Google Maps has been mashed up with the 1980’s arcade game, Pac-Man. That means you can choose any location with streets on the map and then play Pac-Man on it. Fun stuff.
We took a spin in the Richmond District. We tried initially to gobble dots at Lands End, but alas, there was not enough of a grid for Pac-Man to play on (we were hoping he’d run into Ms. Pac-Man in time for the sunset).
So we switched over to the outer Richmond – you can watch our, ahem, brief game play above.
To play, just visit Google Maps, enter a location, and then click the Pac-Man icon in the lower left to start the game. Use the arrow keys to move right, left, up and down.
And watch out for those pesky ghosts – Blinky, Inky, Pinky and Clyde!

*sigh* looks like I won’t be leaving the house today….
don’t get killed crossing the road.
this is hilarious. It can be used anywhere in the world. I hope they keep this as an option forever.
