The promenade wall at Ocean Beach, specifically the ocean-facing side, is a notorious graffiti magnet.
But one ambitious artist recently jumped the wall near the Cliff House to, well, butt into things.
This photo was taken last Saturday so we’re not sure if these butts are still mooning Ocean Beach, but given the track record of the NPS on graffiti removal, they probably are.

Those butts are lacking in diversity so I think they’ll have to go. They are obviously all butts of young females. They lack diversity on both sex and age. Art in the city must be politically correct!

Those butts have been there since at least last September.
We could have different discussions about the art work that comes and goes along the walls at OB. But I have noticed in the last year the crude tagging of rocks and cave areas along the cliff areas that is really defacing and more offensive. It is sad and has truly degraded the natural areas closest to the water and rocks. People, what are you thinking?! Nature is at is best in it’s natural state. Create memories beautiful and preserve the environment.

I kinda like the graffiti, gives the place a little character. But I agree with you in that the artistic merit of a lot of the work has been declining as of late.

Sarah, if you don’t mind me asking, how do you know that the artist who drew the butt’s on the wall goes by the name of yoga but?
