This Friday, admission to the gardens in Golden Gate Park will be free in honor of Pride weekend. Admission is free to the Botanical Garden, the Conservatory of Flowers, and the Japanese Tea Garden.

OPERATING HOURS, 6/24/16
San Francisco Botanical Garden: 7:30am – 6pm
Japanese Tea Garden: 9am – 6pm
Conservatory of Flowers: 10am – 6pm

For the past week, the Conservatory of Flowers has been lit up in rainbow colors for the first time ever, and will be lit each night until the end of Pride Month. Coit Tower will also be lit nightly until the end of this week.

“As a way to expand the many ongoing pride celebrations in our parks and throughout the city, we invite everyone to come together as a community in San Francisco’s beautiful gardens,” said Phil Ginsburg, SF Rec & Park General Manager. “Pride is all about love and resilience, so come show your Pride at the gardens on Friday, or one of the many events happening within our parks.”

The 37th annual Pride Run in Golden Gate Park will also take place on Saturday, June 25. Participants can run the 5K or 10K both of which start and end at the Polo Fields in Golden Gate Park.
