Leading in fundraising is Marjan Philhour with $138k and Sandra Fewer with $100k. Both Philhour and Fewer also have “Misc Increases to Cash” of $57,752 and $20,000 respectively.

To date, Fewer has the most contributions from within the Richmond District – $30,591 to Philhour’s $15,117. They are also the only two candidates with contributions “arranged or made by lobbyists” – $3,450 for Philhour, and $2,100 for Fewer.

WHO WOULD YOU VOTE FOR TODAY?

The actual election for District 1 Supervisor will allow for ranked-choice voting which lets voters rank up to three candidates for a single office on the election ballot (this makes it possible to elect local officials by majority vote without the need for a separate run-off election).

But, if you could only vote for one candidate for District 1 Supervisor right now, who would it be? Take the poll below to let us know. We’ll share results in a future post.

  1. I’m all in for Marjan Philhour! Canvassing on weekends and phonebanking on weekdays!

(By the way, yes the 14th is a Wednesday)

    #VoteMarjan #RichmondDistrict #InvestInTransit #BuildMoreHousing

  2. If you are undecided, please stop in Marjan Philhour’s campaign headquarters, 5909 Geary Blvd. You can learn about her, and learn how you can help!

  3. To pile on the polite electioneering already underway here in the comments: I’m talking with a lot of neighbors who tell me they really like my positions and platform, but with big-name well-funded candidates in the race they don’t want to waste their vote on me if I can’t win. That’s understandable, but let me just remind you, we’ve got ranked-choice voting here in SF, which means that you can vote your conscience for your favorite choice, even if they’re a long shot, and hedge your bet by voting for a backup candidate for #2 and another backup candidate for #3. Too bad we don’t have RCV for president, I’ll bet a lot of people would love to vote for Bernie if they could also vote for Hillary in a #2 backup slot — you can be an idealist ~and~ a realist at the same time!

So consider voting #1 for the candidate you think really would be best (maybe me?), however long the odds, and voting for one or two backup candidates as your pragmatic #2 and #3 choices. And please attend the candidate forums and learn more about all of us, and cast an informed vote, that’s the most important thing in this and every election.

  4. When I was in high school 4 years ago, Sandra sponsored my student group’s resolution that stopped schools from requiring security guard escorts to school bathrooms. Sandra has always been a voice for students, from her 12 terms as PTA president for multiple Richmond District schools to her 8 years on the Board of Education. She has also sponsored and passed policies that address the affordable housing crisis. No other candidate has the experience and history Sandra has. That is why I support Sandra Lee Fewer for Supervisor.

  5. Thank you Andy for the quick primer on the Ranked- Choice voting system in SF. I am an undecided voter and will be attending some of the events. Looks like Ms Philhour is well represented in the comments 😉 But two months is a long time from now.

  6. Sandra Lee Fewer is the only real choice. Sandy has decades of community and policy experience working for the neighborhood and will fight against corporate interests. Find out more about her policy positions here! http://www.sandrafewer.com/issues

  7. If all of the candidates could stop pushing election material under the door into the lobby of my apartment building, that’d be great.

I say this as someone who has unwittingly stepped on them after opening the door, causing me to slip and nearly hurt myself badly. There’s several seniors in my building, and I really fear one of them will get hurt badly.

  8. Sandra Lee Fewer!!! Sandra and her husband John live and breathe the Richmond. Sandra’s a PTA mom who has been a voice of reason on the SF Unified School Board. John protected our neighborhood as a member of the SFPD (John’s dad was a community activist who started Friends of the Urban Forest). I trust Sandra to preserve the unique character of our neighborhood.

  9. Ms Philhour advocates a Rail line down Geary (bad idea – too expensive and won’t result in better MUNI performance). None of the other candidates web site takes a noticeable stand on this issue. Also, no one has addressed the fact that the Richmond is 50% more crowded than 20 years ago due to unfettered development of illegal in-laws. That, more than anything else, has made life in the Richmond more congested. I would like to see one supervisor require off-street parking for every new unit constructed. I don’t see how adding more people to the Richmond is going to help anyone, except pro-tenant candidates, since all new development is rental, not for purchase by families.

  10. Sandra Fewer gets my vote. School board experience, local issues, rental housing advocate, and she’s not using the Supervisor position as a platform to gain higher office…

  11. On her website, Sandra Fewer promotes the fact that she is endorsed by Eric Mar. That’s fine, but I want new leadership with new ideas and a stronger focus on the neighborhood. I’m supporting Marjan!

  12. It appears Ms. Fewer shared this post on her Facebook page and asked people to vote for her so this “poll” should be taken with a grain of salt.

Thank you to Mr. Thornley for the primer on ranked choice voting. I’m leaning towards him #1, Ms. Philhour #2, and Mr. Larkin #3.

To Richmondman, I met Ms. Philhour over a month ago and asked her position on BRT or a train on Geary (like the L-Taraval) and she said she wasn’t in favor of it. Where are you seeing that?

I agree with Mr. Larkin that we need a muni underground extension – that seems like the most forward-looking option.

  13. HELLO EVERYONE 🙂 Thank you supporters but also thank you to just everyone for engaging, no matter who you support. I hope everybody will get policy information about candidates directly from their webpages or by asking them in person! And also come meet us or see us speak in these upcoming forums. Plenty of time left to meet all the candidates and form your own impression. THANK YOU! Marjan

  14. Sandy Fewer. Experience. Ties to the community. Listens to her constituents. Works well with others. Simply the most qualified best candidate.

  15. As the parent of a young child, Sandra Lee Fewer is the choice that makes the most sense to me. She has served as a PTA president for 12 terms and served as president of the San Francisco school board. Sandra has strong track record of building coalitions and getting things done, which is what our city needs. She is not beholden to real estate industry and will have no problem speaking truth to power when it comes to advocating for the residents in our district. I have lived in the Richmond District for 12 years and am a homeowner, and I trust her to steward our district well.

  16. I’ve lived in the Richmond District for 40 years and have known Sandra Lee Fewer for 29 of them. I cannot speak highly enough of her integrity, intelligence and “urge to service” in the welfare of others. She has been deeply involved in community affairs since I’ve known her, beginning with 12 years as PTA President (our children attended the same schools in this neighborhood). Her work for children continued with Coleman Advocates for Children and of course during these past eight year on the SF School Board. Her knowledge of issues is exhaustive. But just as importantly, Sandra Lee Fewer is a person of conscience — in both her personal and public interactions. I feel it’s this quality that makes her trustworthy, and truly respected by many in different walks of life. It is a honor to support her candidacy for District One Supervisor.

  17. Our family supports Sandra Fewer! We grew up and raised our family here. An advocate of public education, being an active parent in the schools is a hard job and she took on that responsibility for 12 years. Sandy has earned the respect of the parents, students and the faculty. It takes commitment, ability to work with people with different views and experience and commitments and stay grounded and present. Sandy understands how the growing income gap has impacted seniors and small business owners and tenants. She is not in the pocket of big money. I wear my Sandy Fewer button proudly and as a result, may people come up to me and say they also support her. I look forward to working with Sandy once she is elected.

  18. 1) The streets are now littered in inner richmond with their stupid leaflets. The candidate should be required to clean the streets. I am purposely not voting for anyone who litters the streets, because they obviously dont care about the neighborhood cleanliness or about the environment with reams of paper to produce these. i cant believe candidates do this
    2) I will not vote for anyone who supports or is endored by Mar, Campos or Kim. They are absolutely terrible people hell bent on destroying san francisco
    3) none of their statements says anything about the burgeoning homeless problem in the richmond. the 1st person who has a plan to put this on their agenda has my vote, unless they are in category 1 or 2.

  19. also, anyone supporting a subway along geary gets my vote. the 38 is a mess and the BRT project brings more problems than solutions

  20. just saw eric mar has endorsed sandra fewer. she is now DEFINITELY A NO. Mar can barely spell his own name, and his policies have been terrible

  21. It’s not just that Eric Mar has endorsed Sandra Fewer. Sandra Fewer actually promotes on her website that she is endorsed by Eric Mar. He is a symbol of what Richmond residents like/dislike about their neighborhood over the last 8 years. Ms. Fewer is apparently hitching her wagon to (endorsing) Mr. Mar and his 8 years of representation. Voters can decide for themselves what they think of that.

  22. Thanks to Sarah B. for always keeping our neighborhood informed. Long before I ever thought about running for Supervisor I grew reliant on this blog to stay in the know.

I completely agree with Andy on rank choice. I encourage everyone to meet and read about each candidate and vote for whom you support. You can meet us at the upcoming forums, and you can find many of us at farmer’s market on Clement each Sunday morning. Richmond District voters are too smart to fooled by the big money that will flow into this race.

If you have questions, or would like to chat with me directly, feel free to email me at info@lyensforsf.com

  23. Sandra Lee Fewer seems to be the obvious candidate- school board + long-time resident.

  24. I see that many posts are in favor of Marjan, but I cannot vote for a candidate who takes money from Airbnb and developers. San Franciscans should be the only voice in city politics – not huge, self-serving corporations who have no interest in maintaining what is unique and special about SF.

  25. Ed, I’m sorry I don’t have your vote =) In any event, a tiny percentage (1%?) of my campaign donations are from people involved in housing development – including affordable housing development, and *none* are with AirBNB. My values and priorities for the Richmond District are my own, formed from my experiences as a child of immigrants, as a small-business owner, and as a working mom. More than three-quarters of my campaign donations are – like most first-time candidates – from friends and family. So I’m not sure where you got your facts from, but I’m also not sure this is the right forum to hash this out =) … please feel free to call my campaign at 415 889 2735 or email me at info@votemarjan.com if you need this cleared up, or just drop by the campaign office on Geary at 23rd or come to one of my public events and we’ll chat. Thank you! Goodnight!! Marjan

  26. I’m actively supporting Sandra Fewer for District 1 Supervisor. I’ve known Sandy for many years and worked closely with her on grass roots community affairs, mainly Richmond Distirct public schools. With all due respect to the other candidates, no one other that Sandy Fewer has the Richmond District street cred to be our representative.

  27. A vote for Sandra Lee is a vote for Eric Mar and the same bad representation we have experienced for nearly a decade. It’s time we get a representative that will support the Richmond and not use our District as a stepping stone or as a means of pushing other agendas. Send a clear message to the City Supervisors and DO NOTE VOTE FOR SANDRA LEE.

  28. Our vote is for Marjan Philhour! Marjan happens to be one of the most open, honest, and capable people we know – that’s why I believe she has so much support. Marjan’s support comes from the many, many people who believe she would make the best Supervisor for the Richmond District, and who believe in her ability to bring people together and get things done for her constituents. Go meet her if you don’t believe me and you will understand.

  29. Fewer has a good heart, but if people are going to talk up her record on public schools, what is that record? SF public schools have gotten more segregated during her time on the school board. Our achievement gap has gotten worse. Our test scores are below state averages. Our superintendent abruptly left after the school board gave him a gigantic raise (+$80K to over $300K!). We do have many great public schools, but that’s mostly where parents are forced to spend extra money out of their own pockets to fix gaps in instruction or services. That’s not all her fault, since funding challenges have been around for years. She is a good person with good intentions, and maybe the answer is that nobody can fix those problems.

  30. are you people paying attention?
marjan and fewer are juiced in and a vote for them is a vote for the status quo and the continuing deterioration of the richmond district
richie greenberg is not asking for endorsements or money from special interests because he doesnt want to be beholden to them
8 years of mahr has taught you nothing?
oh, and one of the candidates is running phone push polls and it sure as hell isnt the ones who havent raised money
there is only one choice and that choice is the only candidate who took the time to do the walk through on the arguello blvd project, to witness the absurdity of a project that has absolutely no plan and will make arguello even more dangerous than it is today
there is only one candidate who is stating that in his first day in office, he will demand an audit of every city dept
only one candidate who wants growth to be logical and beneficial to the district, not the developers
and that man is RICHIE GREENBERG

  31. would really like to know for those voting for sandra and marjan if they can clearly explain the difference between their policies and mahr’s
ask yourself one question…is the richmond better off now than it was 8 years ago
if your answer is no…why do you want to continue the same policies that have brought the district to where it is today?
guess you guys just want more new massage parlors popping up after other small biz close
    that’s great for families

  32. I agree that this has become a lively forum! A few things I wanted to respond to:

Bryan, I appreciate your questions about education. SFUSD has the highest graduation rate in the state and the most rigorous graduation requirements. But we of course have our share of problems. Some of that is about reductions in state funding over time, and some of it is reflective of the broader challenges we are facing as a city. As a Board of Education member I wrote the resolution for neighborhood schools, expanded world language programs, and secured the deal to build 100% affordable family housing on surplus school district property. I am very proud of the work that our district has done and is continuing to do to address inequities in our classrooms– our work is far from over but I do believe the commitment is there.

To Jimbo and “Outer Richmond Parent” regarding my endorsement from Supervisor Eric Mar: that’s correct, I have been endorsed by our current Supervisor. But I have to tell you, as a 4th generation San Franciscan, a 50+ year resident of the Richmond District, a 12-term PTA president in Richmond schools, and a school board member with 8 years of policy experience, I don’t think that I need to “hitch my wagon” to anyone. I am proud to say that I have the support of a broad coalition, including the endorsements of Senator Mark Leno, Assemblymember Phil Ting, the SF Democratic Party, the SF Labor Council, Teachers, Nurses, Firefighters, Sierra Club, the SF Women’s Political Committee, the majority of the Board of Supervisors, the majority of the Board of Education, and more.

I do think of myself as a thoughtful decision-maker, and I want to be accountable to the people of the Richmond. This neighborhood is my home, where both my husband and I were raised, where we own a home, where I raised my three kids and where my husband served the last of his 35 years with SFPD as a traffic officer out of Richmond station. I would be honored to have your support, but each voter has the right to support the candidate of their choice. If you have particular questions about my endorsements, my record, or how I hope to serve District 1, please let me know and I would be happy to talk further: sandra@sandrafewer.com.

Thanks all and I look forward to seeing you all at an upcoming candidate forum!

  33. sandra, you have the support of the broad coalition of people who screwed up the city
    bully for you
a vote for you is a vote for the same thing for the next 4 years
and who is funding the push polls?

  34. Any endorsements by mar, campos or jane lee is not good imho. Those 3 are bad for SF

  35. I went to the PAR Candidate Forum tonight, and was disappointed that no follow up questions were allowed. I hope the next forums will allow candidates to be questioned on the specifics of there responses. I think these forums should be available to the public on video.

  36. No Philhour. Her husband came to the door last week. Inquired if I had heard of his wife. My response was yes. He then proceeded to ask if I was voting for her and my response was no. His response was “I’ll put you down as undecided”. I do not appreciate his tone, nor whatever he was marking me as undecided for. If it was a survey or something, he should have stated that upfront. Quite shady. IF the husband is shady in action, how can the wife not be influenced? No vote for Philhour from me.

  37. Dear Jon – I apologize if I misheard your response. We mark people down as yes/no/undecided just for our own internal records, knowing who to contact later for get-out-the-vote purposes. It is not a survey, it is normal canvassing. I’m sorry I rubbed you the wrong way, I usually have very positive experiences going door-to-door. I’ll be sure to change your status in our database right away, as it important to us that we record yes/no/undecided voters the right way! There is no advantage for us to record a no vote as a yes vote when canvassing. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience, Jon! Going door-to-door is a hard, but essential, part of getting elected to public office in San Francisco. You can find me online if you’d like to talk this through – my name is unique enough that I’m easy to find (= Take care and good luck with the very busy election season to come! Byron Philhour

  38. I’m sure Sandra Lee is a great person and checks a lot of the right boxes, but frankly she has been endorsed by all of the wrong people. Any endorsement by Eric Mar – who has been a poor representative of our district’s interests – is the kiss of death as far as my vote goes. Adding Campos, Kim, and the Sierra Club to that list only validates my choice.

  39. i attended
the format did not allow candidates to really explain their positions in depth
the candidates i came away liking, for both presentation and content
    jason jungreis
    sammy kwong
    sherman d’silva
the candidates i cam away disliking because have no biz being in the race
    david lee
bryan larkin (who is the mta’s man on the ballot)
the candidates who i find likable, but as they are juiced into the system, are a part of the problem and will continue to push the bad policies of mahr
    fewer
    marjan
    lyens
the candidates who left me feeling meh
    thornley
greenberg (full disclosure, im a richie supporter)
things i learned from the forum
marjan is afraid to tell the voters that she is a political consultant
nobody actually knows what to do with the mta
progressives like to use fear tactics (if we get rid of the tent cities downtown, they are coming here)
never blame the electorate for the fiscal malfeasance of city hall….im talking to you, mr larkin…if i had the power, i would fire you and every other administrator and consultant connected to the mta
no one on the panel knows the number of measures on the ballot. there are 17 statewide and 24 for the city. in other words, neither the state legislature nor the board have the ability or the balls to do their jobs and are passing the burden onto the electorate, who they will blame for all future problems
electing board members by district is a total failure. mahr proved that…it wont change in the next election
    things i didnt learn
why do we have so many mattress stores in the district?
why do some candidates want to change geary into wilshire blvd?
why do some candidates think that vision zero is a panacea?
why doesnt a single candidate know that the state legislature has voted 2 billion dollars to deal with the homeless issue in the state
why doesnt a single candidate wish to fight fire with fire and either send back or sue those states who have dumped their homeless and mentally ill on ours? those states have no problem stealing jobs, biz and our best and brightest to improve their economies
why do some candidates really think that a subway to the richmond is feasible?
why do some candidates think that the purpose of city government is social engineering?
why do some renters think i should feel sorry that they didnt have the ability to save money to purchase their own homes. nope, you dont have the right to be able to afford a home in san francisco…south san francisco is a really nice town.
why is it that a chinese merchant’s association was only recently formed
i have other thoughts, but that will do for now
but whatever you do…dont vote for fewer or marjon or we will get another 4 years of political hackery

  40. any endorsement by Mar is detrimental. I also don’t like the quote of ” I’m a 4th generation SFer. ” Honestly , who cares? Im a 20 yr resident, but i dont think a 4th gen SFer is any different than a 4 year SFer. we are all in it together and that is a divisive tag. Living in the same place your whole life can also lead to narrowmindedness. SF is not the end all be all, but we all colelctively want to make it better. I dont know who i will vote for, but will go to some of these “debates” . frankly, cleanliness, homelessness, transportation are the most key issues for me. Richmond is nice because families still lvie here. No one wants their 4 yrs old kid to have to walk by a homeless person on their doorstep every day with their privates hanging out and chuggin beer/smoking weed/shooting up, or just yelling at everyone. Also sick of the junk people keep piling on every corner. and the litter getting worse, although candidates not helping with their flyers everywhere

  41. jimbo,
one thing that must change is the community waiting on the city to fix everything
every week i and the other residents on by block go out and sweep, blow and gather up the garbage that others leave. dont wait.
i dont understand why merchants dont seem to care as a clean street is better for their biz.
it is also long past time when residents organize community watch groups…another thing that mahr fell down on the job about…because he never really cared if richmond dist residents cared about the community
this costs little to nothing, gets people involved, gets people to meet their neighbors and the pd and improves quality of life.
but it also means that the local pd and city must work with the district and its residents
in regards to someone being a long term or short term resident of sf…it does make a bit of a difference in that long term residents have actually witnessed the decline of the city and how each “fix” has only made living in the city that more difficult
for example….im a native. i live on arguello blvd. the city decided that arguello should become a major thorofare and put a bus line (which is now barely used) and a bike lane. lo and behold, arguello has become less safe and so it will now go through a major overhaul that really doesnt address safety. those who went on the walk through with the mta found that out, when mta reps lied about their taking surveys regarding those who make left hand turns from balboa onto arguello and that the street lights were timed for pedestrian traffic (among other things)
there was one public meeting and no hearings and nothing is going to be done about the saftey issues of the fulton/arguello intersection.
short term residents dont know the history of the street, or how many times the mta has made kneejerk decisions which have to be fixed later.

  42. Marian thinks the answer to housing is to BUILD more affordable housing. We need to enforce rent control and fight illegal evictions. Overbuilding has gotten San Francisco into this overcrowded mess. Building “affordable” units will only attract profit seekers to continue over-populating the Richmond. Her simple answer on housing is deceptive. Affordable sounds good, but NEW CONSTRUCTION. Is a huge red flag. Should like Lee for me.

  43. Why isn’t someone pointing out that Marjan just moved into the district to run for this Supervior’s race? She lies when she says she is not getting money from AirBNB. Why can’t people see she is backed by companies that just want to overcrowd the Richmond District? Sandra Fewer is the choice that will keep the Richmond District the neighborhood we love.

  44. Pamela, I do not work for Marjan, but i am a supporter. I can tell you that the reason that people are not pointing that Marjan “just moved into the district to run for this Supervisor’s race” is because IT IS NOT TRUE. Marjan has lived in the Richmond for years. She and her husband and children have lived there for a considerable time. Their kids go to school locally.

With regards to your suggestion that she is backed by AirBnB and other companies, you can research the validity of that accusation by going to her website, or calling her office for an explanation. From what I can tell, Marjan or her team will respond to your concerns if you like.

Here is what I have learned, please confirm for yourself – Marjan cannot and did not actively seek money from AirBnB or any other company, as that would be improper. She cannot control who donates to the PAC. Marjan’s positions with regards to housing/house sharing are clearly articulated in her policy positions which are on her website and heard in her speeches. She wants AirBnB and every company to be responsible. She understands that the housing shortage and affordability in the Richmond district is a real problem, and to the extent that AirBnB is contributing to that problem, she is open and willing to address it. I do not think she “in the pocket” of AirBnB, or any corporate lobbying group.

In my opinion, Marjan is a bright energetic person who will bring a “get things done” attitude to her representation of the Richmond district, addressing quality of life issues, which includes finding solutions to address the problem of lack of affordability for lower and middle income residents. I applaud that. I want to see a different approach than the leadership style we have seen in the last eight years.

  45. Hi,

I made the mistake of replying above and now I’m getting emails every time anybody replies!

Marjan and I moved to the Richmond in 2006, just over ten years ago. Running for Supervisor was not on the agenda =) In fact, Marjan was pregnant at the time and we went on to have three kids, she launched her business, etc.

She writes about all this in her background here: https://medium.com/@MarjanPhilhour/why-im-running-7a254149b42d

The other stuff is also a stretch. You can read more about campaign finance here: https://medium.com/@MarjanPhilhour/a-positive-issues-oriented-campaign-for-the-richmond-1d1aa0af1550

And about her housing plans here: https://medium.com/@MarjanPhilhour/housing-affordability-and-the-race-for-richmond-district-supervisor-5b2c9a9af278

Just two more weeks folks =)

  46. Air BNB is the thing that is ruining, or has ruined, San Francisco, in a Nut Shell. I go through a background check to live in my building. Some stranger wants to party in SF for the weekend all they need is a charge card to be on the other side of my bedroom wall. San Francisco used to be a great city of individual neighborhoods. Now we are a hotel group for strangers, who can take taxis in cars that drives don’t get FICA paid by their employer. Everything this city was about, the Harvard frat boys have ruined. So Marjan has to say who gave her money, even if she didn’t ask for it – AIR BNB – the question is why does this sack of s**t company want HER to have power? There IS a reason, and it’s reason enough for me to voter for lee.

  47. Thanks Byron! I have been on the fence, but after reading Marjan’s thoughts on both housing and homelessness, I will vote for her. Its clear we need more housing and the city and region have underbuilt. That is driving up prices and pushing people out. I would really like to see an investment in a geary subway before upzoning geary though. Also agree with her support for Farell’s bill on tents. This is now becoming a big issue in the richmond and the city is doing nothing about it. We need to get the mayor’s attention on this.

Sandra Fewer seems to be more aligned with Eric Mar, which is a bit scary

  48. People should go to Cal-Access and the SF Ethics Commission and follow the money before they vote. Tech billionaires and Airbnb are throwing hundreds and thousands of dollars at this race in an attempt to buy this election. They are supporting Marjan Philhour. Check out the Third Party independent expenditures on behalf of Marjan Philhour at the SF Ethics Commission: http://www.sfethics.org/ethics/2016/06/campaign-finance-dashboards-june-7-2016-and-november-8-2016-elections.html. Wondering what the Robert F. Kennedy Democratic Club and San Francisco for a City that Works are all about? Follow the money. You will be able to trace is back to Progress San Francisco and tech companies and/or their billionaire CEOs — Airbnb, Ron Conway, Yelp, Y Combinator, Google, Benchmark Capital, and so on. These industries and individuals are going all out to elect Marjan Philhour. Why? What favors do they want? What are they trying to buy? Every voter should take a look at these websites before they vote. Tenant protections, preservation of rent controlled housing (from being converted into hotels for Airbnb, for example), political equity for those of us who are not tech billionaires — these things are all on the line. 49. Andy Thornley wins my vote. He has the voter’s best interest in mind. He has lived in district one for decades and has supported community throughout his residency. He supports policies for seniors, youth, disabled and comprehensive city accountability. His down to earth kindness has earned him the highest regard from city hall to Sacramento. He is an effective plan builder with responsible follow through. Andy Thornley is honest, smart and wants the very best choices made for his district. Andy reflects what his community is about and will put voters’ interests at the top of his list.
