Last Sunday around 3am, a man attempted to break in to Sea Cliff Optometry (3032 Clement). As can be seen in the video, the man used a brick to try to break the windows of the business, which recently opened on Clement near 32nd Avenue.
According to the business’ post on Nextdoor, the burglar was successful in breaking a top window of the storefront, but not the glass of the main door.
The suspect, a Caucasian male wearing a snowboarding jacket and jeans, can be clearly seen on the video.

Since this individual likes to use bricks to smash glass, when they corner him someone should ask him if he’s also responsible for smashing all the Muni stop glass along California St. and Geary lately. WTH???? Every time I head to a stop in the neighborhood, there’s broken glass all over the place. Someone arrest this idiot.
Seeing as how he left his fingerprints all over the window it’s obvious this guy is a runner up for a Darwin Award.
I’ll also wager that he has a rather lengthy rap sheet too.

I don’t see any glasses but he’s got alligator eyes. Does that mean he wears contacts?
Unless he has inside info I would suspect that there’s not much of street value in an optometry business. Glasses with prescriptions for other people, maybe empty frames, and, ah ahhh contact lenses maybe for those alligator eyes.
