What to do this weekend: Artist Open Studios

This Saturday and Sunday, artists across the Richmond District (and Sunset, Cole Valley, West Portal, Ocean View, Excelsior, Balboa Park, Outer Mission, Glen Park, Visitacion Valley, Portola, Bayview, Islais Creek) will welcome visitors into their work spaces as part of the city’s annual SF Open Studios event, put on by ArtSpan.

This is a great chance to meet artists that create in our neighborhood every day, and to check out their work. Nine artists are participating on Saturday and Sunday, from 11am until 6pm on both days.

In a special twist, Michael Pedroni, the artist behind those creative and sometimes kooky/creepy installations at the Busvan building on Clement, will hold an open studio. Stop by 244 Clement to meet Michael and view 2,000 square feet of his sculptures and paintings.
