I’ve walked this neighborhood for a lifetime and you have certainly done it justice!?
Given that I’ve wandered the Richmond district for roughly the last 65 years and am finally off to become a desert hermit, this is was a nice wistful last look. Thanks

Thank you! In 1924, my grandparents bought a set of flats built by their employer on 9th Avenue. I grew up there and even to this day, as I saw the photo of the different houses, I could tell where in the Richmond they were! The Richmond was quite a place to grow up. Thank you for the great homage to this district. (Also, I’m happy to hear a much younger person STILL use a native’s pronunciation of “San Francisco”!)
