Ah, yes, the Golden Gate Angling and Casting Club. This story brings back many memories. I was a member there in the early 1970’s and learned fly casting from Steve Rajeff, Phil Miravalle and Jack Vaughn. Steve and I spent many hours on the Trinity and Klamath rivers fly fishing for steelhead.
Except for Steve, I believe most have passed away. I visited the club a couple years ago but sadly, didn’t recognize anyone.
