Thanks to everyone who voted in the mayoral poll here on the blog. As you can see from the results above, it’s still a pretty tight race.
Note that even though Ed Lee won the poll, these votes were cast before the latest controversies over his campaign that came to light this week. So we’ll see how this shakes out on election day.
Remember to vote for real on November 8!
Sarah B.
what do people see in Ed Lee?
Well, he’s been a pretty good mayor so far.
I thought about Ed Lee but no way will I vote for him now, especially after the mud slinging against Herrera.
Thanks for this mini-poll result, Sarah. I think we are in for a very interesting election, considering the ranked choice issues along with the personalities running.
And like you said, remember to vote on election day!
I agree with Tyler given Lee’s connections to Rose Pak, Willie Brown, and now an endorsement from Gavin Newsom. That plus the facts that he refuses to name just who is on his finance committee. Lee has also complained that keeping track of contractor contributions was “burdensome paperwork.”
The recent distribution of his book is really what makes me sick. He spent nearly $89,000 printing 50,000 copies??? Seriously. What an ego. Couldn’t he have thought of a better use of that money?
If anyone can explain that… please do.
Ceasar lost any chance of a vote when a postcard was left on my winshield before a rain, and now I have yukky stuff stuck to the window… it’s going to take a razor blade to get off.
Please vote to protect Golden Gate Park when you vote for Mayor!
SF Ocean Edge has been attending mayoral debates and informing the public about the Beach Chalet and the Water Treatment factory projects. As a result, many of the candidates have responded positively and are now backing a field renovation with natural grass, no stadium lights, and no water treatment factory in Golden Gate Park. Those candidates are:
Jeff Adachi
Cesar Ascarrunz
John Avalos
Terry Joan Baum
Paul Currier
Tony Hall
Dennis Herrera
Wilma Pang
Joanna Rees
Leland Yee
Has San Francisco ever had a mayor who wasn’t corrupt!
I am very much agginst the water treatment factory, fake grass/lights in GG park, hopefully who ever wins will keep to GG parks original goal that all buildings inside the park are recreational and veggitation natural.
