Thursday night at 7:30pm, the Balboa Theater will host the Manhattan Short Film Festival. The festival shows films from ten finalists that were chosen from 428 entries from 36 countries.
At the festival, you’ll be handed a voting card upon entry and asked to vote for the ONE film you think should win. Votes are tallied by each theater across the country that shows the festival and sent through to Manhattan Short headquarters. The winning short film is then announced on Tuesday September 29th in New York City.
The mission of Manhattan Short is “to unite audiences from all seven continents of the globe for one week via the most compelling short films submitted each year”. Find out more about the ten festival finalists.
