This Saturday from 10am-1pm is the Plant Sale at the S.F. Botanical Gardens. It’s a unique opportunity to purchase plants seldom found in commercial nurseries or garden centers. All plants that are sold are suitable for Bay Area gardens and are propagated by volunteers from the Garden’s own collections. This sale features perennials but a general selection of plants will be sold as well.
The sale is held at the San Francisco Botanical Garden Nursery, located in the southwest corner of the Gardens. Enter through the main Gate at Ninth Avenue at Lincoln Way or through the Friend Gate near the Tea Garden.
It’s on my calendar! I have a few spots in my garden that could use something new.
