STATION’S MESSAGE
Hello Richmond District,
We at Richmond Police Station are deeply saddened by the devastation caused by natural events in the past couple of weeks. There have been extreme hurricanes in Texas, Florida, and the many of the Caribbean Islands and the large earthquakes throughout Mexico.
These disasters are very hard to avoid but sometimes being prepared can help you and your family tremendously. The San Francisco Police Department along with other public safety agencies encourages residents to be prepared for possible large scale natural disasters. The following
website can help keep you ready in the possible event of a disaster.
www.SF72.org– SF72 is your hub for emergency preparedness. You’ll find information about what to do in an emergency, simple steps to get connected, and useful guides to help you get prepared. See page 4-5 for more information. As always stay safe.

Always appreciate the police report and sorry to nit pick but the time stamps this week were slightly jarring. If the plan is to switch to 24 hour notation, the AM, PM designations aren’t required (not to mention that 13:23 AM is completely confusing and inconsistent, and what actually prompted the comment).
