Richmond resident Rick Homan got in touch with me the other day to tell me about his latest composition, entitled “I Can’t Afford to Go on Living”. The song is Rick’s humorous and deadpan story about the perils of our health care system.
Rick says “It may not bring Republicans and Democrats together on the issue, but it might get people to take a break from yelling at each other.” I hear ya, Rick.
Rick is a full-time guitarist who moved to the Richmond District in 2006 after 21 years in Philadelphia playing in jazz bands. You can catch Rick live at The Bazaar Cafe on November 6, or visit his website to check out more songs, videos, or to sign up for his guitar lessons.
