Was cruising down Clement between 8th and 9th Avenues last night and noticed a new restaurant putting on the finishing touches. Pagan, pictured below, opens this Saturday. Pagan already has one location in the outer Richmond at 3199 Clement that has gotten great reviews. Good luck to them with their expansion! If you dine there, let us know how it is.

P.S. – The name Pagan is actually how “Bagan”, the ancient city in Burma (Myanmar), is pronounced. Bagan’s landscape is dotted with thousands of ancient temples. Check out these pics on Flickr, spectacular:
