Dog talk, SF history at the Richmond Library – July 30

This Thursday, July 30, the Richmond Library, 351 9th Ave., is hosting a couple of interesting events.

2pm: Dog Talk with Kathy Brody
Understand dog behavior and safety do’s and don’ts with Kathy Brody of the SPCA. Includes communication, body language and meeting a new dog. For ages 5 and older. Space limited; call for reservation: (415) 355-5600

6:30pm: FoundSF.org: San Francisco History Online
Learn how to publish San Francisco history online! FoundSF is a new interactive website that invites history buffs and all San Franciscans to share their unique stories, images, and videos from the past and present.

The growing FoundSF online archive provides people with access to the city’s lost history, with content contributed by hundreds of participants. From ferry boats to bike messengers and tours through the neighborhoods to redevelopment, learn how to use this new resource and contribute your own stories. FoundSF is a collaboration between Shaping San Francisco, San Francisco Museum and Historical Society, and you!
