CAPTAIN RICHARD CORREIA’S MESSAGE
There are three areas in the Richmond District that experience a significant number of injury motor vehicle accidents. The areas are: Geary between Blake Street and 5th Avenue, Park Presidio from Cabrillo to Lincoln, and California between Pierce and 6th Avenue. Officers will be focusing traffic enforcement areas in these areas coming week. As other areas become the focus I will alert you. Please drive safely.
During the past week, there were 12 traffic accidents, 2 involving injuries, and 3 DUI arrests. There were 10 citations issued for driving without a license or driving on a suspended license.
The next Police Community Forum will be on Tuesday September 15, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Full Life Christian Church, which is located at 3535 Balboa Street (2nd Floor). We will be discussing crime trends and public safety issues, and I am interested in hearing your comments about the recent Outside Lands Concert.
