Join me at the Arts Expo in GGP this Saturday

I’ll be manning a Richmondsfblog.com table at the Independent Arts Expo this Saturday in Golden Gate Park. Stop by to say hello, see some old photos and newspapers from the Richmond District of yesteryear, and check out the new tshirts I’ll have for sale (men’s and women’s sizes).

The expo takes place from 11am to 6pm in the Music Concourse between the Academy of Sciences and the de Young Museum. Note that I’ll only be exhibiting from 11am to 3pm.

This is the 10th annual Independent Arts Expo and is billed as the “only grassroots connection fair for independent arts, music & culture”. There will be plenty to see and do at the expo. Organizers expect 200 exhibitors and upwards of 5,000 attendees from around the Bay Area. See the full list of exhibitors

In addition, four large-scale murals will be painted live at the Expo, featuring the talents of the Quetzal Collective (East Bay), Andy Gouveia (South Bay), Brino Ism (North Bay) and Precita Eyes Mural Center (West Bay).

I hope to see some of you out there! I’ll update my Twitter with my exact Expo location on Saturday.
