Next Tuesday, the Balboa Theater will host a complete 1973 Bob Wilkins “Creature Features Show” with original show segments, TV commercials, along with the feature film, The Creature Walks Among Us.
In The Creature Walks Among Us, the third film from the Creature from the Black Lagoon series, the evil gill man terrorizes San Francisco. Prepare to be creeped out!
Creature Features ran on KTVU Channel 2 from 1971 to 1984, hosted by Bob Wilkins, and later by John Stanley, who took over in 1979. John Stanley will be there live to host the Balboa event on Tuesday night.
The event begins at 7pm. Tickets are $6.50 – $9.00 and can be purchased in advance online. The Balboa Theater is located at 3630 Balboa Street (at 37th Ave).
