Volunteers clean up slopes near Sutro Park

On Saturday, June 12, a group of volunteers joined Ranger George from the Golden Gate National Recreation Association to help with native plant restoration work along the slopes near Sutro Park.

Zoey Kroll was there and took all the photos below. She says the volunteers “pulled out the prolific wild radishes, and weeded around the natives we had planted last summer.” And it looks like one volunteer took a well-deserved break on the job. 😉

Thanks to Zoey for the photos and to all those that volunteered their time to make Sutro even nicer.
