You’re always out walking your dog anyway so on Sunday, walk on over to Sharon Meadow in Golden Gate Park for Pet Pride Day, hosted by Animal Care and Control of San Francisco.
There’s loads of activities for pet lovers including a parade of pets, a pet trick contest, a pet halloween costume contest, vendors, performers and something called the Super Dooper Pooper Scooper Kiddie Goodie Scramble.
The event also offers free microchipping for licensed dogs and cats. Though who would bring their cat or any other kind of pet to this doggish event is beyond me… My cat would kill me if I even dared!
