This week the San Francisco Botanical Garden in Golden Gate Park announced the winners for its 2011 Great Garden Winter Shootout photo contest. Photographers were tasked with capturing the garden in its winter splendor; winners were chosen by garden and horticulture photographer Saxon Holt.
There are some beauties in there, shots of places I don’t even remember from my last visit to the garden! And a couple of cute ones taken by George, an 8 year old budding photog.
The winning photos will be on display in the auditorium of the County Fair Building, 9th Avenue and Lincoln Way, from March 10 through March 21.
