It’s actually one of my pet peeves that people dump crap on our neighborhood corners (Recology will take it away for free people!). But this particular abandoned chair has an artsy feel. Did some great painter use this chair in his/her studio?

If you see garbage dumped on the sidewalk, call 311 asap. DPW will pick it up. And don’t forget to report graffiti to 311, also. Please, help Keep Our Neighborhood Clean.
The thing is – the pickup fee is included in the Recology bill: there are free pickups for big items by Recology. To have DPW pick up the stuff dumped on the sidewalk is like paying twice, once for DPW and then for Recology. I’ve never understood why people don’t call Recology?

@Cee Moon – Recology is actually the garbage company (Golden Gate Disposal, Sunset Scavenger – they just got fancy with their branding). Just call them and tell them you have some oversized items that need to be picked up.
