NOTEWORTHY ARRESTS
On 02/05/12 at 1015am, officers responded to the area of Great Highway and Fulton to assist US Park Police in a search of a man with a gun. Callers were reporting that the male appeared agitated and was talking to himself. A search of the area was done, and he was located on the beach by US Park Police officers. The gun turned out to be a paintball gun, and the incident is being investigated by the US Park Police officers.

On 02/06/12 at 9:37am, officers were called to the 500 block of 45th Ave on a call of a burglary in progress. The caller was a real estate agent who had gone to the home to meet with a contractor and when she pulled up into the driveway she saw the suspect standing on the stairs and asked what he was doing there. The suspect told the agent “Get out of here or I am going to kill you.” The agent backed out of the driveway and called the police. While on the phone the agent watched as the suspect entered the garage by climbing through a mailbox opening which was 18”x18” in size. When the first officer arrived on scene, he went to the glass paned front door and saw the suspect inside. He ordered the suspect from the home and the suspect replied that that this was his house. The officers detained the 26 year old male and located items taken from the home as well as mail taken from other residences. The suspect was charged with burglary, possession of stolen property and threats.

NOTEWORTHY INCIDENTS
Between 02/03/12, 7pm and 02/04/12, 8am on the 600 block of 25th Ave , a suspect gained entry into a garage and took a bike. There were no signs of forced entry.

Between 02/05/12, 10pm and 02/06/12, 11:00am on the 700 block of 41st Ave, a suspect gained entry into a garage whose door was broken and stuck in the open position. The suspect then broke the window of a vehicle parked inside and took a camera.

Between 02/06/12, 12pm and 02/07/12, 12pm on the 2700 block of Balboa, a bike that was parked and locked behind an iron gate of an apartment building was taken.

On 02/07/12 between 2pm and 4pm on the 2800 block of California St, a suspect gained entry into a garage which used for both residential and commercial units in the building. The suspect took a bike.

On 02/07/12 between 3:30pm and 3:50pm the victim was on a 38 Geary MUNI line traveling from 32nd and Geary to 6th and Geary. When she exited the bus she saw that someone had unzipped the zipper on her backpack and took her wallet.

Between 02/07/12, 7pm and 02/08/12, 7am on the 700 block of 11th Ave, a suspect gained entry into a garage by
breaking a glass pane on the garage door. The suspect took a bike.

Between 02/07/12, 9pm and 02/08/12, 6am on the 4900 block of Fulton, a suspect gained entry into an apartment garage and took a dirt bike. The bike was recovered on the 5200 block of Fulton on 02/08/12 at 1:30pm. There were no signs of forced entry.

On 02/07/12, between 11:34pm and 11:44pm, a suspect attempted to pry open a door to a business on the 500 block of Point Lobos. The suspect was unsuccessful and then broke out an air vent and climbed through the opening. The suspect took cash and food.
