On July 18, the Plough and Stars pub (116 Clement) will host a night of short plays, or “Pint Sized Plays”. All of the plays are by local playwrights, and are packed into a mere 90 minutes.

The evening is put on by the San Francisco Theater Pub troupe, whose motto is “Make it good, keep it casual, have a beer”. They showcase a wide variety of readings and performances by established and emerging writers, all staged in the bar space.

The onhealthy buspar online troupe usually performs out of Cafe Royale but for one night, they’re taking the show “on the road” to the Richmond District.

The local playwrights involved in the event are Tim Bauer, William Bivins, Stuart Bousel, Tom Bruett, Megan Cohen, Nancy Cooper Frank, Seanan Palmero, Sunil Patel, Marissa Skudlarek, and Leah M. Winery.

The event is free, but a $5 donation is kindly requested at the door. The fun begins at 8pm but get there a little early to ensure you have a seat.
