A couple of readers sent in photos and video from a house fire that started around 9am on Sunday morning on 2nd Avenue near California. The SFFD had it under control by around 9:45.
A building next door to the fire was evacuated, but there were no reports of injuries during the fire. We have not heard what caused the fire.

Hope nobody got hurt…
My friend lives (or now lived) there and she, her husband and son were home at the time but no one was hurt. She said the fire officials think that an ember from a neighbor’s cigarette got caught in the wall and started the fire.
