Next Thursday, the Conservatory of Flowers is hosting a Succulent Terrarium Workshop. The event will be led by Brandi, owner of the Sunset District’s Urban Bazaar, a gift shop featuring Fair Trade and locally made accessories that is also home to “The Succulent Bar”.
At the workshop, you’ll get hands on guidance in creating your own “tiny world of succulents, rocks, and moss, encapsulated in a glass orb terrarium”. You’ll make one terrarium which you can take home and the skills to create more on your own. You’ll learn basic succulent identification, propagation, and care; how to transplant succulents, and how to use color and decorative elements to create a beautiful, tiny terrarium.
The workshop takes place at the Conservatory of Flowers on Thursday, September 13 from 6:30pm until 8:30pm, and costs $53 per person (includes an $18 materials fee). Register online in advance, space is limited.
