This Friday night, Zion Lutheran Church and School is hosting a couple of chocolatey events for adults and kids.
First up is a Wine and Chocolate Night for adults (21+), which includes sampling tasty wines and delicious chocolates, and a chance to meet other parents and new friends from the neigborhood. The chocolatier will also regale you with fascinating facts about chocolate.
And while you’re tasting and imbibing, your wee ones can enjoy a showing of the classic film “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”. This is the original 1971 film starring Gene Wilder. Kids are encouraged to wear their pajames and bring a pillow or sleeping bag. Snacks (but nothing chocolatey) will also be provided.
The events take place this Friday at Zion Lutheran School from 7pm until 8:30pm. The school is located at 495 9th Avenue. For more information, contact the school at 221-7500.
