Win passes to “Dinos Among Us!” after hours event at the Conservatory, Sept. 27

It’s time again for some after hours fun at the Conservatory of Flowers. Next Thursday, stop by for “Dinos! Among Us”, an event for the 21+ crowd that includes good food, music, and the chance to hang out in a real life land of the lost with the Conservatory’s current dino tenants.

The evening is themed around the Conservatory’s current exhibition, Plantosaurus Rex, showcasing a prehistoric paradise of plants from the time of the dinos when giant ferns, spiky horsetails, and primitive cycads grew in lush abundance and fed many of the monstrous reptiles that roamed the earth millions of years ago.

The event also includes a talk by fossil expert Sarah Werning who will explain how fossilized bone tissue has opened a whole in chapter in the study of dinosaur metabolism, lifespan – even their sex lives.

Enjoy libations from local companies Brewtruc (San Francisco’s first taproom-on-wheels), Social Kitchen and Brewery from the Sunset, and Oro en Paz wines.

We’re giving away two pairs of passes to the event! For a chance to win, fill out this online form by 3pm on Friday, September 21. We’ll pick two winners at random from the entries. Remember, you must be over 21 years of age to attend this event.

“Dinos! Among Us” runs from 6pm until 10pm on September 27, and admission is just $5 (order online). But if you’re feeling saucy, dress like a dinosaur and you get in FREE (and be sure to send us a pic!).
