  • Edible Exhibitions at the Conservatory of Flowers
    an exhibit that touches upon food found in the wild, such as coffee, curry, chocolate, peach palm, guava, pineapple, and vanilla. More info

  • Free admission to the Academy of Sciences for Richmond residents
  • Last chance to see the Andy Warhol Live exhibit at the de Young Museum
  • Photo Exhibit: The Botany of Nests, San Francisco Botanical Garden
    Come enjoy the photography by Sharon Beals, as she shares her native plant and bird imagery with guests from April to June. This San Francisco photographer captures the essence of roses from the Rose Garden in Golden Gate Park to an exploration of the bird’s nest. More info

  • Emergenza Music Festival at the Rockit Room, 8pm – midnight More info

    SATURDAY

  • 11am – 3pm Western Neighborhoods Project Open House at their new headquarters at 300 Taraval @ Funston. More info
  • 1pm -3pm Richmond Library Re-Opening Celebration, 351 9th Avenue
  • 11am-5pm Life is Good Festival, Speedway Meadow, GGP (Map).
    Music, food and fun are the main ingredients needed to stir up an entertaining Saturday event for the entire family. Live music performances include the talents of Martin Sexton, ALO, and the Sippy Cups. Exciting games and activities will keep everyone busy with tug-o-war, seed spitting, football flings, soccer kicks, and badminton. The Main Stage will host the live musicians, while the Kids Stage offers an assortment of fun, including a puppet show, juggling, magic shows, and balloon art.

    SUNDAY

  • Bay to Breakers (8am – ~12noon). Street closure & resident parking info
  • 1pm – Golden Gate Park Band Concert, Music Concourse/Bandshell More info
  • ~ 6:15pm at the Balboa Theater: Behind the Scenes with STAR TREK Special Effects Supervisor Roger Guyett. More info
