Remember that fun film School of Rock, starring Jack Black? Turns out we have our very own version here in the Richmond at Jon’s School of Music on Balboa and 43rd Avenue (he also has a school in Berkeley).
Jon is a hip, creative, funny artist with a special gift for teaching music to kids age 1 through 7. He may be as entertaining to the adults as to the kids he teaches. He writes all his own music and lyrics and lets babies and young kids explore all different instruments, including keyboards, electric and acoustic guitar, drums, violin, cello, harp, upright bass… the list goes on and on.
