Multicultural Art Fest, “Kung Fu Panda” Movie Night with the RDNC, June 2 & 8

Summer is nearly here and the Richmond District Neighborhood Center (RDNC) is kicking off their myriad of free programs for neighborhood families.

First up is the 25th Annual Multicultural Children’s Fair on June 2 from 11am until 3pm. Stop by the center at 741 30th Avenue for a day of fun art activities for kids of all ages. Enjoy games, entertainment, a photo booth, craft activities and a variety of international foods for sale. Admission is free. Call 751-6600 for more information.

On Friday, June 8th at 5:30pm, the RDNC will also host “Fun Fest Movie Night” featuring a screening of the animated film Kung Fu Panda. Bring your own blanket and the whole family to watch this funny movie about a bumbling panda named Po who aspires to be a kung fu master.

The film will be shown outdoors at George Washington High School at 7:30pm. Enter at the Richmond Village Beacon entrance on 30th Avenue near Anza. For more information about Movie Night, contact Sarah Huck at sarah@rvbeacon.org or 750-8554.
